The proposed development in Amman, Jordan, is a multifaceted complex designed to integrate various aspects of modern urban living and mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic by reducing infection rates. The project includes facilities such as a health and sports medicine center with a lifestyle gym and health club, and luxury BnB-style apartments for both short-term and long-term stays. It features an urban farming area and a farmers' market offering high-quality organic food. Additionally, the complex houses a library and research facilities with maker labs, 3D printing, rented classrooms, exhibition spaces, and a conference center. An open-air amphitheater is planned for events and performances, alongside Air BnB-type hotels and serviced apartments for visitors. The development also includes a dedicated e-gaming arena and collaborative office spaces designed in a We Work style to support entrepreneurship and innovation.
To address the need for outdoor activities post-COVID-19, the complex features four main activity levels. The first is a central promenade and amphitheater space that enhances the city's green areas. The second is a sloped ramp serving the retail spaces. The third is an outdoor space above the podium, accommodating restaurants, dining areas, and general residential use. The fourth area, located on the periphery of the complex, can be utilized as parking or a plaza space for the neighborhood. This project aims to create a vibrant community space that fosters health, education, innovation, and sustainable living while ensuring ample outdoor space for various activities.
